MFT Far Out

I was playing with the new Doodle Garden Far Out Stamp Set today.  It's so adorable...and so much fun to color.  Once the color brought her to life, I knew that I had to finish the card and post it!!

Isn't she perfect with the hippy dippy paper from Doodlebug design?  The dies I used are all MFT Die-namics:  Jumbo Scalloped Border, Leaf Filled Flourish, Oval Stax and Notched Tag Die and Stamp Set!  The Leaf Filled Flourish is gorgeous as it is, but you can cut it apart and arrange it in all kinds of ways to get just the look you want!!  The other really fun accessory I used was the hemp cord that MFT sells.  You can color it with Copics and make it any color you want it to be!

Copic colors used:
                   E50, E00, E11
                   E35, E17, E18
                   B91, B93, B97, B99
                   R27, R35, R39
                   Y06, YR04, YG05, YG09, W2, BG70 &
                   0 colorless Blender

MFT Die-namics Vertical Greetings Die & Stamp Set

I love this stamp.  It works for almost everything!  Who wouldn't want to get a card with this sentiment on the front from the Die-namics Vertical Greetings Die & Stamp Set by My Favorite Things?  It works for girls, guys, young, old, congratulations, thank you, birthday!!  The list goes on and on.  Like I said, I  love it!

For this card I used background paper that I made myself using the Masterboard technique that I learned at Stamp and Deliver in Daytona.   Brenda Ambrosino taught the class.  The gears were cut with a Tim Holtz die and then rusted, and the little stars are wood veneer colored with Copic markers.  I think the paper that I used for the side border and above and below the greeting is from My Mind's Eye.

Valentine

This is my first try at the Triple Stamping technique.  Wow...fun and easy!  It doesn't get better than that.  I used
two Stampin' Up sets I (heart) Hearts and Dream Come
True.  The beautiful Spellbinder label die makes it more
  romantic!  Thanks for visiting.

Stampin' Up Nature Walk Birthday Card

Ah, it's a new year and I've made a resolution to post more.  Here is a card that I made for a friend's birthday.  I decided that I would use all Stampin' Up products and I'm really happy with the result.  I've hardly used my SU markers, but they produced a beautiful result!  The inspiration from this card came from a post by Linda Young.  I'm sorry that I'm not better at posting all of the materials I used.  I will try to get better at that in the future, but if you really need to know, send me a message and I will figure it out for you :)  Thanks for looking and for visiting my blog!!
